       "A New Day For Communication"

A busy busy week lies ahead and what better way to get ready than to print CDs, shine up the battle-ax (aka my trusty guitar) and change the oil in the van. There is a slow burn of excitement building over the show at Rocco's on Thursday night. Connected Media has been out in full force gathering up the festive masses to converge on the Tuscan inspired resrurant and bar for a night of holiday merriment in preperation for Christmas!!      Tomorrow I will be sending off the 5 copies of my album that CDbaby needs to get thigns rolling on their end of things over there in Portland. I am very enthusiastic with the thought that I will be finally able to get songs on the all important iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and the rest of the outlets so large. What's new with you? Shoot me an email I would love to hear your rambles and brambles.

       "A New Day For Communication"

Last night was a busy night for the mice that run my back office! I unleashed their full potential and set my sights for a better way to get in touch with all you Tucker Toads out there and what did I end up with? Mad Mimi has a great little system to help people like me become better engaged so I signed up and now have sleek html based emails with pictures and rich text. I also diverted some of that mouse power towards the CD Baby folks and in a few short weeks will have some music up on the internet be it iTunes or Pandora. That's all for now hope to see you out tonight at Arctica!

       "Back in the digital game"

I have finally broken down and learned the code behind the scenes here to update the site on a regular basis. This week you should expect to see some live sound board recordings up from this weeks gigs. Just listened to last night's set at The Mad Hatter the recording has a couple great tunes I will mix down tomorrow after the gig tonight at The Meyersville Inn.

In other news we are working on booking dates down in Philly at such venues as The Tin Angel and Trocadero. See you soon... down there in always sunny Philadelphia!

Last  night Rob and I went up to Wendy Waldman's house where we laid harmonies of her over the two tracks that she and I wrote together, the first of which was "Bring Back Love" and the second was "Runnin Away." Wendy is such a seasoned pro that in no time at all we had some amazing things on tape. Next step in the process will be to get signed up with ASCAP and then gather the investors to get the EP pressed and released.  I feel truly blessed to have gotten to this point so quickly.

A long lost hello from the Davey that went west! My New Years resolution is to be more active in my internet life and therefore better connected with all you that are back home on the East coast or whatever corner of the world that I have met you. The second week of Oct. I made it to Los Angeles in one piece with the minivan still running and my hopes high for the work to come, since that time I have rebuilt a few things around the studio, recorded the guitar tracks for the first album, met new friends and began an exercise routine on my bike to combat the pervasive smog that fills the valley's. Please stop back as a music player and some videos will be added soon to this site but in the meantime click on over to My Facebook Page

Well as the usual the events of life have their own rhythm and rhyme and I find myself in a wonderful tangent from my desired path. The split in my path occurred while I was packing my van and parents garage with the respective things that I was leaving to maybe mildew and others not to gather moss my dad's mother Annettte had a stoke. She has been spending the summers in the town where her father and mother met in Vermont sometime in the late 1890's he was a contractor in Hartford, Connecticut and she a maid at one of the many boarding houses up here in Orange county Vt. They married after a few summer's of courting and letter writing and after one dusty summer in Hartford she insisted on a house back on her beloved Bear Mountain to have as a respite from the city. So here we are 25+ strong all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren gathered around her in celebration of a life well lived with love and integrity.      I got to say goodbye forever to my grandmother "Mima" and all the cousins that have not been together on this mountain since we were kids with grass stains and campfires and stories that are now coming to light in songs and creations of a new generation. We love you Mima!

Today has been a day of tying up loose ends; changing the oil, learning basic html code to update my journal, packing the van and of course one last sushi dinner in Morristown with my sister and brother in law. Hot and spicy wasabi was of course a mandatory part of the experience something that I truly relish each and every time that get to partake.  One year when I was living with them we decided to forget the Christmas tree and have a dinner to remember... of sushi!

Well the long awaited website is now here! I am stoked about the design that my sister Cornelia created. I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to listen to my music. The past year has been an exciting one for me in discovering the possibilities that are in store for all of us if we just ask. So ask for more! I know I am.

p.s. check out the calendar page for where you can catch me live.
